The largest model railway in the world and one of the most successful permanent exhibitions in Northern Germany.

Two German brothers (Alman Frederik ve Gerrit Braun) started to make this miniature in 2000 and it will finish in 2014. It cost 12 million $. 

The area for the 8 km railway is about 150 meter square and there are 700 trains in the railway.

The miniature railway contains:
700 trains 
10.000 wagons 
900 Signal Lights 
2.800 Buildings 
160.000 People, Animals and Plants

Same Roots with Sweden and Turkey

How weird is that two countries, Sweden and Turkey, which are two far in distance to each other have such common words in their languages. Futhark alphabet (predecessor of Runic Alphabet) is known to have the same origin with the ancient Turkish (the current Turkish has been intermixed with Persian language a lot in the recent history).
